| Common Name: Brisbane Lily. | ||
| Distribution: Northern NSW to Southeastern Queensland. | ||
| Habitat: Widespread in a variety of habitats including rainforest margins. | ||
| Form: Bulb with leaves to about 50 cm. | ||
| Leaves: Leaves dark green, long and fleshy. | ||
| Flower: Flower an umbel of 5 to 12 white flowers held on long fleshy stems arising out of the centre of the plant in summer. | ||
| Fruit: Fruit Green turning orange when ripe; about 2 cm in diameter late summer. | ||
| Garden Use: Hardy bulb which is an excellent addition for the garden. Prefers a sheltered position with well-drained soil. Leaves will disappear in hard times but will return with warm wet conditions. Will regenerate after a fire. | ||

| Propagation: Easy from fresh seed. Clumps of this lily will increase naturally given the right conditions. | ||
