| Fruit: Orange, fleshy, containing one to four seed(s) which form bulges in the surface of the fruit. Ripe Jan to Mar. | ||
| Garden Use: A bushy easily grown species which can be pruned as a shrub or allowed to climb. Flowers are fragrant. | ||
| Edible?: Yes. | ||
| Propagation: From fresh seed, removed from the pulp. Germinates easily and reliably in 2 months. | ||
| Comments: Aborigines ate the ripe fruit straight off the forest floor. Fruit has a pleasant acidic taste. A foodplant for a number of butterflies. | ||
