Botanical Name: Geijera salicifolia var. latifolia (Rutaceae).

Common Name: Broad-leaved Scrub Wilga.
Distribution: Illawarra region, NSW to Barron River, Nth QLD.
Habitat: Subtropical and dry rainforest.
Form: Medium tree to 25m tall.
Leaves:
Flower: Flowers are white on branched stalks at the branchlet ends from June-July.
Fruit: Fruit is a brown, 1-4 valved receptacle splitting to reveal a shiny black seed. Ripe August-September.
Garden Use: Yes, could be used for larger gardens and acreage plantings. It is a hardy tree, though fairly slow growing. Forms a dense shade crown.
Edible?: No.
Propagation: Propagate from fresh seed (germination unpredictable) and cuttings.
Comments: Seed eaten by King Parrot, Brown Cuckoo-Dove, Lewins Honeyeater and Scrub Turkey.
