| Habitat: Subtropical and dry rainforest and along scrubby watercourses. | ||

| Flower: White, bell shaped Sept - Nov. | ||
| Fruit: Blue drupe. Ripe Jan to April. | ||
| Garden Use: A fast growing tree suitable for larger gardens and windbreaks. Attractive in both flower and fruit. | ||
| Edible?: Yes (flesh surrounding the seed). | ||
| Propagation: Germination is both difficult and erratic but strikes readily from cuttings. | ||
| Comments: Aborigines made necklaces out of the seed after eating the flesh. The fruit is attractive to birds, especially silvereyes.
